Casey about the concert in Volkshaus (October 6th 2018)

“What a cool experience it was to play at the legendary Volkshaus concert hall in Zurich. Wonderful atmosphere for performing arts. Many, many world famous performers have performed at this venue and I was truly honored to perform as well. When I walked onstage the applause was warm and I was pleased to see some familiar faces from previous concerts. I opened with “Marlouge Wood” and went directly into “Honey In The Rock”. One of the most memorable moments for me was to play a cover of James Taylor’s “Sweet Baby James” - as the great man himself had once graced that stage. The audience was very engaged and seemed to like my stories behind the songs as well as the fact that the Chippendales were performing for a thousand screaming women one floor below me. Hells Angels at the Bonstetten concert and Chippendales at the Volkshaus venue. A typical unpredictable night with yours truly but all in good fun and intention. Coming up on November 10th is the great Rapperswil Castle performance along with the release of my first solo piano album in 23 years, “November”.  I hope to see old friends and new at a concert soon. Cheers.  C”
